A shed is primarily for storage — tools, equipment, lawn gear, the stuff that's been taking over your garage. A studio is a finished, functional space designed for people: home offices, gyms, golf simulator, fitness spaces. A cabin is a full structure designed for living or overnight use, built to residential standards. The lines can blur — a well-finished shed becomes a studio, a large studio can become a cabin shell — and we're happy to talk through which category actually fits what you're trying to build.

All of our buildings are built on-site, on your property. There's no delivery, no crane drop, no settling for a size that almost fits, and no damage from transport. This allows you to get the size you want, in the spot you want, with the quality you deserve.

We build anything from 4x6 up to 20x60 and beyond for the right project. If you have a specific size in mind — or a specific space you need to fit — tell us the dimensions and we'll work from there. 

It depends on the size, the use, and your county. In most northern Utah counties, structures under 200 square feet don't require a permit. Larger structures, anything with electrical or plumbing, and anything used for sleeping typically do. We will work with you to get any of the required permits for your building.

A standard storage shed takes two to four days on-site depending on size. A finished studio runs one to two weeks. A cabin build ranges from two to six weeks depending on finish level and scope. Weather, site access, and material lead times all affect the schedule. As a small crew, we keep things in-house to maintain quality and keep costs down for the customer.

For most builds you need a  level site with 3' of clearance around where the building is going. We can advise on site prep before we start — or handle it for you through our site prep service if the ground needs work first.

Yes, depending on the structure and finish level. Electrical rough-in and insulation are standard on our studios and finished cabin builds. For sheds and cabin shells we offer electrical rough-in and insulation as an option. Plumbing is available on cabin projects where site utilities make it practical. We'll cover what's included and what's optional when we go over your quote.

We serve northern Utah including Summit, Wasatch, Morgan, Davis, Weber, Cache, and surrounding counties. We do work in the surrounding states as well depending on the project.
